Event Information

  • Mountain Bike Ride – Ride the Hill then ‘Run’ it to ‘Nail’ the hill like an Ironman – The 15km MTB ride starts at 8am from the same starting line at the Lavington Sports Oval, Centaur Rd and finishes at Bonnie Doon Park at around 9am. You then head back to Centaur Rd to start the run at 10am. Your times from the 2 races will be combined to determine the Ironman/Ironwoman of Nail Can Hill.
  • Vitasoy Nail Can Hill Run – The Full Can – The course is run mainly along the ridge of the Nail Can Range that borders Albury on the west side.
    The distance of the run is 11.3km. The route consists mainly of fire access tracks with short sections of gravel and bitumen roads. The course is marked with kilometre markers and directional arrows and lines. Walkers can expect to take up to 3 hours to complete the course.
  • Arnold’s Half Can – The course is run from Bonnie Doon Park to the finish line at Bonnie Doon Park. – This is a 4km run on unsealed surfaces.

Bibs can be collected at QE II square in Dean St on Saturday 3rd May, 2025 between 8am and 12am.  Registrations are done online, and bibs can be collected immediately after registration.

Bibs are also available at Bonnie Doon Park prior to 8:30, and then at the start area in Centaur Road, Lavington prior to the event start.
Bibs will then be available at Bonnie Doon Part again prior to the Half Can.

Vitasoy Nail Can Hill Run

The start point is on Centaur Road, Lavington just west of Hanna St.
The start control will be in place from 8:00am on Sunday, and traffic management will be in effect.
The race proceeds west along Centaur Road.
The Mountain Bike Race follows the main course.

The finish line is in the centre of Bonnie Doon Park, West Albury.
The race course will be marked by bunting and barriers in the park area.

Arnold’s Half Can

The start line will be at the football goal posts at the east end of Bonnie Doon Park, West Albury.
The race will proceed north east through the park.
There is a road crossing and traffic control will be in effect at the crossing.

The finish line is in the centre of Bonnie Doon Park, West Albury.
The race course will be marked by bunting and barriers in the park area.

Bags can be dropped off at the start area on Centaur Road, Lavington.

There will be a bag drop area and bags will be transported to the finish area.
